This user consent informs you about the purpose, type, and scope of the data collected and processed by us when using the Corona data donation app (hereinafter referred to as "app").

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and work in full compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. The following paragraphs inform you about this:

1. Purpose of data collection and data processing

The provision of the data supports ViTouch in enabling a better prediction of the nationwide course of the disease with Covid-19 and thus an improved control of containment measures against the corona pandemic. The forecasts are to be made on a daily basis at the postcode or district level and made available to the public in anonymized form. Based on scientific models, the app uses my personal data to calculate the likelihood of a flu-like illness, such as Covid-19, on a daily basis. Already the evaluation of the resting heart rate, the sleep duration, and the activity level are sufficient for a recognition of corresponding symptoms.

It is expressly pointed out that the app does not provide medical advice or individual diagnostics.

2. Consent to data processing

The processing of data is based on my consent to the processing of special categories of personal data (health data) for the above-mentioned purpose.

3. Scope of the data collected, storage location, and storage duration

1. We process personal data of the users of the smartphone app for a specific purpose and in accordance with the statutory provisions.
2. For the above-mentioned purpose, my profile info, daily activities, and the data of my devices are combined on a voluntary basis. Pseudonymized means that the ViTouch cannot make any reference to my name without the use of further information. The app never has access to immediately identifying information such as name or address.
3. By connecting the account with my additional devices (smartwatch, fitness bracelet, thermometer, blood pressure cuff, etc), I explicitly instruct the ViTouch to transfer the data of these devices to the app. I have the right to request my personal data concerning me and stored there should be transmitted to the ViTouch. This import takes place initially when released and regularly as soon as new data are available.
4. Captured data is encrypted from my smartphone to the servers operated by us exclusively in the USA, where it is processed and stored.
5. If I no longer want to use the app, I can delete my account.

4. Storage of personal data

• The individual use of the app is based on a pseudonymous token.
• The following personal health data will be automatically collected and saved by the app after linking to my devices:
• Data for the assessment of individual health data:
• Age
• Size
• Gender
• Weight, etc.
• Automatically and manually recorded activities, such as:
• Sport (e.g. cycling, running)
• Sleep and sleep phases
• Being active (e.g. walking, activity)
• Rest periods, etc...
• Automatically and manually recorded vital data, such as:
• Pulse
• Heart rate variability
• Stress
• Temperature
• Weight, etc.

5. Storage of the location

To use the app, you have to enter the postcode, which is where I mostly stay. This summarizes the probability of illnesses per postcode area for the purpose.

6. Data transfer to third parties

• We treat personal data as strictly confidential.

7. Data security

• We limit access to data transmitted to us to those employees who need access for the provision of services. These are contractually obliged to comply with the legal data protection regulations.
• The app was developed by Hospital on Mobile, Inc. 684 Roble Avenue, Menlo Park, CA. It operates the app on behalf of and on the instructions of the ViTouch (order processing).
• To protect your data, extensive technical and organizational measures have been implemented (e.g. firewalls, encryption and authentication techniques, procedural instructions).

I have the following data protection rights:

• The right to request information about what data has been stored about.
• I can assert these rights as long as the data can be assigned to my person.
• The right to revoke my consent at any time without giving reasons with effect for the future and to end the use of the app without any adverse consequences for me. This can be done, for example, by deleting my profile in the app.

With my explicit consent in the app, I consent to

1. That my personal data described above, in particular my health data, required for the purpose of using the app, is collected, stored, evaluated and processed in the form described above and linked with other user data,
2. That for the purpose of using the app, my personal data of my devices is transmitted in a pseudonymized form to the ViTouch and processed there,
3. That the evaluation results are published in anonymous form, which does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about me.
